May Hill Society

THE MAY HILL SOCIETY

The May Hill Society was formed in 1977 to give a collective voice to the residents of the approximately one hundred and forty properties in the May Hill settlement, who are divided between five parish councils and two counties.

The aims and objectives of the May Hill Society are:
1 To encourage the residents in and around May Hill to take an interest in the care and preservation of May Hill and promote awareness of any issues affecting May Hill and the surrounding community.
2 To act, if necessary, as a forum for discussion of any matters of concern to the residents of May Hill.
3 To actively liaise with local authorities and any other outside agencies that may be involved with matters that concern May Hill and its surrounding community.
4 To support the work of the National Trust and local authorities in the care of May Hill. If you would like to be included in the May Hill Society email circulation list, please contact the May Hill Society Secretary on lifa@wingatesfarm.net
